Katie White
Hello!
Here's who I am & what I do!
My name is Katie White and I am currently a senior at Clemson University, graduating this month (December 2022)! I have a major in health science with a concentration in pre-professional health studies. My dream has always been to become an occupational therapist, as I can clearly see how my personality fits in with the path. I have applied to Occupational Therapy grad programs, and am awaiting responses now.
Even at a very young age, I already knew I wanted to be in the health care profession. I loved learning new ways about how the body works and finding ways you can treat it. I have always had deep compassion and care for others, and as I gathered more research on possible careers, I found that I just clicked with everything that makes occupational therapy programs what they are today.

I would love to connect with you and find more opportunities on how I can become involved with your occupational therapy programs.
Interests
I love to travel and explore the world. One of my favorite things to do is try new foods, especially international ones. Travel allows me to learn more about others and grow my cultural knowledge, while also seeing the beauty the world has to offer. Below is me in the Bahamas and I tried escargot for the first time later that day!
I also love to be around friends and family. It is the times that I have the most fun. I love being able to connect with others and find commonalities. If I see that others are comfortable and happy, then I am too. Below is a picture of my family.
I really love to be outdoors and stay active. I like to go around the different areas where I live and see new things. I enjoy hiking, working out, swimming, or playing sports (especially soccer). Below is a picture of me and my friends who hiked up a mountain for a beautiful sunrise.
Animals are my favorite. I love playing with them and going to zoos to see all of them up close. I have grown up always having pets, so I have become attached to being around them and teaching them new tricks. Below is a picture of my sweet puppy, Annabell, who I have had since I was 7.
